Admin and Data Entry Cash Assistant - FOR NATIONAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Liaise with protection emergency cash team to understand and support finance and procurement needs related to program implementation.
  • Liaise with Finance staff to ensure that the finance and procurement needs of the emergency cash are met, in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Support in weekly movements and distributions planning for Beirut/Mount Lebanon staff.
  • Provide field support for emergency cash teams when required (risk assessments, data entry EC databases, field distributions, BoB transfers)
  • Perform other duties, as need it or requested by the supervisor.

Work Experience: 

  • At least one year of prior professional experience in a similar post, preferably with an international organization;
  • Experience working with emergency response and refugee population preferred. 
  • Preferable cash programs experience.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of clients at all times.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to following up tasks until completed;
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility.
  • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative and responsibly escalate issues.
  • Strong team spirit, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Flexibility in working overtime when needed and ability to handle pressure well.
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel). 

Education: Bachelor/Degree in Social work, Counseling, Psychology or other related field
Language Skills: Arabic fluency required, ability to communicate and write clearly in English strongly preferred. 

Working Environment: Combination of office-based (40%) and field-based (60%).
