Apprenticeship Officer

Major Responsibilities: Support youths in preparatiob of placements which include induction, regsirtation, training and development plans and all relevavt procedures for placements Responsible for all relevant documentation of the project Conduct Life Skills Training and/or other preparational trainig for youths Conducr pre and post qeustionnaires, document Bio data, collect time sheets, Code of Conduct, contrats Ensure all documents are filed properly Liaise closely with Economic Recovery and Developnebt team to identify approperiate placements Liaise closely with case management team, to collect information for referrals and follow up Liaise closely with PSS team, to ensure approperiate coordination Produce statistics and reports on a weekly basis and when required Consuct weekly visits to the apprenticeship to monitor performance progress of teh apprentice and placement conditions Ensure that payment of beneficiaries is accurately processed Process payments on a monthly basis Identify and refer cases that may require to be referred to external or internal services non CP related Other Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs Professional Standards All IRC staff are required to adhere to THE IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct and the IRC country employment policies. Key Working Relationships: Position Reports to:  Street Children Child Protection Manager Position directly supervises: N/A Indirect Reporting:  N/A Job Requirements: Bachelor degree in marketing and sales, human resources or equivalent; 2-3 years of experience implementing vocational training programs, youth programs and/or, cash for work, preferably in a humanitarian or emergency context. Experience in community mobilization and participatory decision making highly preferred and valued Demonstrated experience and capacity in collecting field-level data, and experience analyzing field data and concisely reporting on results; Strong ability to work independently, organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility; INGO experience preferred; Personal qualities: Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well. Fluency in English and Arabic required
