SCOPE OF WORK: The CP Case Management (CM) Officer will be responsible to manage the overall Case Management program in one of the governorate. The CP Case Management Officer will be responsible of the coordination, supervision and support for the case workers. The CM officer works in close collaboration with the psychosocial (PSS) officer and ensures that trends are communicated to develop adapted and contextualized CP awareness messages.

Coordinate the case management team and ensure that their work is according to standards
Provide technical support to the case management team
Coordinate with PSS officer and area officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program
Ensure that the Case Management system is functional and follow the SOP. Ensure that staff fill in correctly the referrals and other tools
Provide feedback to the CP Manager and the CM specialist in terms of needs for capacity building
Support the case worker and the data base worker in their daily work
·Organize the case conference, to discuss challenging cases, ensure timely follow up, and that all systems are functional
In coordination with the CM specialist participate in the monitoring and evaluation of the program
Co-facilitate CM training to case worker, para case worker and gateways when requited
Compile the weekly data of the case worker and the data case worker
Participate in the development of lesson learned and best practices
Grant Monitoring & Reporting
Develop weekly for the case worker
Revise and compile weekly case worker and data base case worker report
Ensure that all relevant financial documentation is completed accurately as required by IRC finance policy.
Coordination & Representation
Attend CP coordination meeting when required
Liaise and collaborate with other CM actors when required
Maintain positive coordination and relationships with partner and other IRC sector staff.
Other
Ensure activities are done in accordance with IRC logistics policy and in a timely manner to ensure the successful implementation of programs;
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs
Professional Standards
All IRC staff are required to adhere to THE IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct and the IRC country employment policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
University degree in law, social work, sociology or relevant field
Experience in working with children preferable
Social work experience mandatory
Management experience mandatory
Experience in working in emergencies preferable
Three years of relevant work experience in the area of child protection preferably including case management
Experience in working in NGO preferable
Ability to develop partnerships, network and attend coordination meeting
Experience in facilitating trainings/mentoring
Fluency in Arabic mandatory and conversation and written English an advantage
Knowledge of child protection database / CPIMS preferred
Proficient in Word and excel
Travel and other requirements: Staff will be based in Beka’a Governorates, with some travel required between the governorate and the main IRC office in Beirut.
