Cash Assistance Officer - FOR NATIONAL CANDIDATES ONLY

General Responsibilities:
•    Participate in assessment and data collection
•    Identify intervention sites in coordination with direct supervisors
•    Follow daily activities through field visits
•    Ensure that the project deliverables are within budget and deadline with the support of the direct supervisors
•    Attend weekly/monthly coordination meetings together with the other members of the Livelihoods Team
•    Liaise with the direct supervisors, Logistics and Finance resources regarding financial projections, procurement, payments and necessary  documentation
•    Draft weekly and monthly reports

Support to MSME:
•    Coordinate and collect referrals, working closely with the Emergency Response Team
•    Carry out on field Needs Assessment and analyze business data to determine intervention needed
•    Prepare business plans and other forms needed for providing cash grants and multi-purpose cash assiatance 

Support to Conditional & Unconditional Cash Assistance:
•    Support the Conditional Cash Manager in planning and implementing cash for work activities within the Emergency Response frame, ensuring  they are completed within the given timeline
•    Select beneficiaries eligible for conditional cash assistance to be engaged in Cash for Work activities
•    Collect records of attendances and prepare other needed supporting documents
•    Plan and provide timely communication for all equipment supplies, and bills of quantity necessary for the implementation of projects in consultation with IRC Logs Officer/Supply Chain department and external actors
•    Maintain the program’s records, attendance sheets, agreements, as per activity guidelines
•    Select beneficiaries eligible for unconditional cash assistance

Job Requirements:
•    BA in Social Work or BS in Business Accounting, management or any relevant related field
•    Minimum of two years’ experience in a related field
•    Previous field experience highly preferable 
•    Good organizational skills
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•    Ability to work under pressure in an emergency context, independently and with limited supervision
•    Very good computer skills (Word and Excel) and some database knowledge preferred
•    Diligence 
•    Attention to details when collecting data
•    Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is a must.

Working Environment:  This position is based in Mount Lebanon Livelihoods Center, Mkalles, with a daily presence in the field to ensure a correct implementation of the intervention.
