Child Protection Field Assistant Winterization

SCOPE OF WORK: Brief description of the position’s role within the Project(s): The field assistant winterization is a team member of the winterization distribution team. With his colleague he/she is responsible to collect data of the children inside the ITS (number, age, sex), write report and support the distribution, ensuring that the child safeguarding procedures are respected. Who this position reports to: The field assistant winterization reports to the CP Manager   RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Quality Visit ITS and present the activity that the IRC will organize in them Collect data on children (number, age, sex) Compile report of data in the different ITS and share them with the CP Manager and the logistic officer Distribute the winterization kits inside the ITS according to policy Provide distribution report to the CP Manager Any other CP activity as required Professional Standards All IRC staff are required to adhere to THE IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct and the IRC country employment policies.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in working in distributions for population in needs mandatory
• Experience in working with communities and in community mobilization project mandatory
• Capacity to work long days in the field during the winter
• Experience in working in the Informal Tented Settlements preferably
• Experience in working with children preferably
• Working experience in NGO a plus
• Personal qualities: Team player, flexible, network-builder, able to handle pressure, enjoying working in the field
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic, English speaking is a plus
