Child Protection M&e And Trainer Officer

SCOPE OF WORK: The CP M&E and trainer officer is part of the global CP team based in Beirut but with 75% of the time in the field. He/She will cover two aspects of the Child Protection work:1- The main person responsible for the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of the CP activities and 2- provide trainings to the team in the fields, service providers and gateways. For the M&E component the Officer will develop with the support of the CP Senior Manager an M&E plan that includes the log frames indicator and respect of minimum standards. Based on the plan the M&E officer will produce weekly and monthly report using the existing format.  For the training component the officer will either support other colleagues in the delivery of training or be the lead in certain trainings such as basis of CP and safe referral.   SCOPE OF WORK The Child Protection M&E and trainer officer works directly under the Senior Child Protection Manager. He/she is responsible of the overall M&E plan and supports training delivery.   SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The CP M&E and training Officer is specifically responsible for the following tasks:   Develop in collaboration with the Senior CP Manager an M&E plan that integrates donor indicators including minimum standards Provide a briefing M&E package to the CP team for them to be aware of indicators and how to collect the information, ensuring no double counting and being compliant with guiding principles Develop in collaboration with the Senior CP Manager weekly and monthly reporting templates for the different positions (case worker, PSS worker, data worker, deputy manager, etc.) Produce weekly and monthly report of CP activities in the field based on the report provided by the team. Ensure that analysis is integrated in the report and feedback to the team if required Support teams in the delivery of training by co-facilitating trainings when required Provide training on introduction to Child Protection and safe referral, and other CP training when required

• High school diploma minimum, university degree preferable
• Experience in working as part of an M&E department
• Experience in providing trainings
• Competencies in working with excel mandatory and other data software a plus
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience
• Working experience in NGO strongly recommended
• Interest and experience in Child Protection, social work and general humanitarian field mandatory
• Experience in working with children and in the social sector a plus
• Experience in working in emergencies a plus
• Fluency in Arabic and English written and speaking
• Strong sense of personal integrity and understanding of confidentiality and ethics
• Additional qualities: fast learner, ability to work under pressure and long working hours, flexibility, dynamic and methodic
• Good communication skills
