The Database Consultant will serve as a stopgap between the departure of the ERD database officer and the hiring of a database assistant. This main objective of this position is to learn the basic functions of the current ERD data, run reports as requested, and then hand over acquired data knowledge to the new hire.
This position reports directly to: IRC ERD M&E Manager
This position reports indirectly to: IRC ERD Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the M&E Manager, the Database Consultant will:
Review the general construction of the CashPro and Livelihood Center database with the outgoing Database Officer;
Review all handover documents with the outgoing Database Officer;
Run the following tasks upon request:
Weekly merger of Cashpro and LC data;
Monthly report;
Creation IS_ID’s for CFW/VT tool as well as new applicants;
Export scoring of Vulnerability Assessment data;
Update of Zoho databases;
Extract Vulnerability Assessment in excel format;
Insure additional (new) VA data is synced from Ona to Access;
Hand over tasks to new database assistant once hired;
Review construction of databases with new database assistant once hired.
Work Environment:
The consultant will meet with the current IRC Database officer and incoming database assistant at the IRC office in Beirut. All other work may be done remote provided the consultant is able to complete it within the established 3-day timeline.
Payment:
This position will be paid on an hourly basis.
