Job Overview/Summary: The CP Deputy Coordinator is responsible for supporting the CP Coordinator in the overall implementation of child protection activities in Lebanon. With direct management support from the CP Coordinator, she/he will ensure that the goals and objectives of the program are met in a timely and effective manner.
Major Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Child Protection Coordinator:
Program development & Coordination
Participate in proposal development and the development of other strategic documents at national level
Organize by weekly meetings with the participation of manager and specialists and CP case management Manager if and when appropriate
Support CP Managers in representing IRC to local coordination mechanisms
Grant Planning & Implementation
Prepare donor reports (qualitative and quantitative) as per set schedules (quarterly and annually)
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders in the field to enhance cooperation and coordination.
Responsible for ensuring the achievement the overall grant timeline and completion date
Update on a monthly basis the Budget versus Actual in close collaboration with the finance team.
Facilitate and co-facilitate training if and when required and ensure quality of trainings delivered is of high standards, respecting set training plans and all the other relevant processes
Support the CP Coordinator for recruitment requests, contracts extensions, timesheets, services contracts, and other aspects of human resources management.
Support the field teams in liaising with Supply Chain, Finance and HR departments to ensure timely delivery of program resources and adherence to IRC policies and procedures

Job Requirements:
Education:
Master degree preferable.
Work Experience:
Five years of relevant work experience in the area of child protection, developing and managing case management systems and psychosocial programs;
Experience in refugee (child) protection in emergencies and/or working with UNICEF/UNHCR an asset
Experience in developing partnerships, network and coordinate
Experience in developing training modules and in the delivery of trainings
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
Excellent analytical skills with a good vision to create strategies
Demonstrated report/proposal writing experience
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of child protection database required, good knowledge of the IMS preferred
Language Skills:
Fluency in English; Arabic an advantage
Working Environment: Office work and field trips
