Within the WPE (women Protection and Empowerment) Programme, the driver is expected to represent the International Rescue Committee (IRC) Lebanon in a respectful and professional manner and according to humanitarian principles. The driver will report to the WPE Manager.
Major Responsibilities:
To transport authorized passengers on their official duties, as well transport cargo safely and as instructed. This includes collecting materials from project and suppliers.
To adhere to IRC policies and procedures, including but not limited to:
Understand and obey all traffic laws and regulations.
Accurately keep the vehicle log sheets.
Performance of daily vehicle inspections according to IRC standards.
Applying the standard regulations and procedures in case of accident.
Assist the Supply Chain and Administration departments in procurement, inventory & asset management and maintenance of IRC premises as and when needed and in adherence to the relevant policies.
Ability and willingness to undertake frequent trips to and from the Field offices, including overnight stays if required.
Commitment to working to serve humanitarian needs in line the values of integrity, service and accountability

Job Requirements:
Education: No Degree required
Work Experience: Minimum 3- 5 years of experience
Language Skills: Fluent in Arabic, and good in English (both spoken and written)
Certificates or Licenses: Possessing a valid driving license at all times. Public driving license is a plus
