Enumerators - Beirut - FOR NATIONAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Job Overview:  

Under the supervision of the Senior M&E Officer, the two enumerators will conduct emergency cash follow up surveys (two rounds), in addition to a satisfaction survey related to IRC’s implemented projects in the Lebanon. The surveys will be over the phone, IRC will provide the enumerators with a phone scenario, tablet or laptop for data registration and mobile phone.

It is expected that the enumerators conduct the survey in compliance with IRC policies and as per the schedule.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Actively attend training and planning sessions on assessment methodology and questionnaires.
  • Ensure high quality data collection and that assessments are conducted in a manner that respects all respondents. 
  • Understanding of all instructions provided throughout the training.
  • Close coordination with the supervisor.
  • Contacting beneficiaries for specific addresses.
  • Conducting surveys with sampled beneficiaries at their household.
  • Conducting data collection including: post-distribution monitoring, shop monitoring, assessments, key informant interviews, etc.…with different persons of different age groups (children, youth, and adults), gender, nationality and ethnicity.
  • Handling and filling questionnaires either on paper or through digital device (tablet).
  • Taking notes of and/or facilitating qualitative data collection during focus group discussions or key informant interviews.
  • Discussing with the supervisor challenges faced during data collection.
  • Submitting completed tasks on time and discussing with the supervisor highlights, notes and protection cases on a daily basis.
  • Keeping a record of the number of surveys conducted and areas visited.

Education: High school certificate or undergraduate diploma  

Language Skills: Proficiency in English language is required in addition to Arabic.
