Job Overview/Summary: Working under the supervision of the Field Support Officer (FSO)- Bekaa and also has reporting lines to the Senior Field Manager (SFM) in Bekaa supporting in Security Tasks.
Major Responsibilities
Supply Chain
Facilities management:
Upkeep and general IRC facilities management including offices and guesthouses.
To monitor stock consumable items such as fuel for the generator, toiletries, light, bulbs/tubes and arrange to replenish supplies in accordance with IRC current procedures, as well as general maintenance and repair.
Ensure visibility of IRC material in the office including logos, images, charts etc…
Coordinate with FSO on the office safety requirements
Procurement:
Assist in procurement to be carried out in accordance to IRC Lebanon and donor-specific polices.
Provide procurement services for IRC Lebanon as required, including generating RFQs/RFPs for duly authorized Purchase Requests received, collecting RFQs/RFPs from vendors and submitting them for bids analysis to Procurement Officer.
As instructed by FSO, assist in identifying vendors for new types of goods and services
Routine update FSO regarding the order and delivery of supplies.
Verify that all supplies, services and equipments ordered are delivered in quality and quantities requested and in time.
Maintain supplier information for regularly purchased items and be informed of current local market conditions.
Maintain up-to-date price list for regularly procured goods and services
Promptly respond to requests received from administration for procurement of office, cleaning and guesthouse supplies.
Any other duties or tasked delegated by FSO.
Assets and supplies/ inventory management:
In coordination with FSO Ensure that all new assets/equipment are tagged upon receipt and promptly recorded
Prepare required documents to issue equipment to staff, record return, damage or losses and promptly record
Ensure that an updated assets inventory sheet is submitted on monthly basis.
Ensure that all IRC assets and equipment are well maintained; advise supervisor of any damage or loss of equipment and assets
Ensure that an up to date filing system for all assets maintained.
Assist FSO in managing the warehouse, delivery of goods, receiving of goods, transportation, casual labors, organize the warehouse, documentation, and inventory.
Security:
Reporting to the Senior Field Manager Bekaa, candidate to assist in the following security tasks
Follow up and monitor the movement of IRC cars in Bekaa area
Work with SFM to develop, consolidate and implement operating procedures and contingency plans;
Evaluate, review and update the hibernation and evacuation plans for all IRC offices and residences in Bekaa and the region, and ensure that the practical preparations are in place and known to all staff involved;
Support in conducting risk assessments of contracted and prospective offices and residences.
Undertake continual assessments of equipment to ensure that minimal conditions for security are being met.
Work closely with IRC teams to ensure all incidents and accidents are followed up with an official written report, which is then shared with relevant stakeholders and filed appropriately.
Coordinate regularly with the SFM on safety and security, and fulfill reporting requirements to the region.

Job Requirements:
Interest in humanitarian and refugee issues
One to Three years work experience in logistics, procurement, or related field. Familiarity with procurement and rental markets in the project locations strongly desired.
Languages: Fluency in Arabic and ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English required. Proficiency in French desired, but not required.
Must be computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong ability to prioritize work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and coordinate multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
