Graphic Designer - Beirut - National Candidates Only

The Contractor will work closely with IRC’s Social Emotional Learning Senior Manager and SEL materials development Manager based in Lebanon. and other relevant project staff to co-design characters, format and layout of SEL foundational training manual in addition to all related handouts. The manual will pass to the exclusive ownership of the Qitabi 2 project, including all use and distribution rights connected to them.

Deliverables:

• Layout and design of the SEL foundational Tools and graphics for 6 modules
• Determining size and arrangement of material, as well as font style and size
• Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
• Branding aligned with videos and PPTs and maintain same standards of colors
• Maintain appropriate branding for Qitabi 2
• Make edits to manual as needed as per feedback from Qitabi 2 team
• Meet with the team (remotely) as needed to review the work progress

The Qitabi 2 team will provide all guidance and content to be included in the manual. They will work closely with the consultant to the manual

• Qitabi 2 will provide guidance on graphic work based on the project’s branding guidelines

During the Term of the Agreement, Contractor shall complete the following deliverables in accordance with the following schedule (the deliverables):

• Deliverables: Finalizing the SEL foundational training tools and graphics for 6 modules.
• Date: End of October.

Requirements:

• 5 + years of experience in graphic design, preferably for educational projects.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
• Graphic design skills or high level of proficiency with the Adobe Suite.
• Ability to collaborate with others at key moments of the design process.
• Ability to receive input and to take critique positively to improve program design.
• English required, and Arabic fluency preferred.
