Job Overview/Summary: The IT Assistant is responsible to assist in providing and facilitating computer support including new computer installation, maintenance of equipment, installation of peripheral devices, installation of software, and general resolution of helpdesk requests related to IT activities.
Responsibilities:
- Configuring approximately 200 new laptops, adding them to the domain and installing additional software & drivers as required
- Wiping and re-imaging approximately 100 laptops, adding them to the domain and installing additional software & drivers as required
- Migrating users with their data onto their new machine. Providing a basic introduction to Windows 10 for those staff who have not used it before
- Securely erasing old laptops. According to the appropriate corporate standard.
- Office licenses. Requesting Office 365 licenses if they are required for the above process
- General IT assistance. Provide any additional IT assistance as per need

Job requirements:
Education: College degree or equivalent certification
Work Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in help desk/desktop support position
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft family of products (Windows, Office and Server)
- Strong written and interpersonal skills; customer service experience
- English and Arabic both written and spoken
- Able to work independently within a team environment
- Additional qualities: personal integrity, ability to multitask, ability to work under pressure, ability to improvise and flexibility
Working Environment: Standard office work environment; work location from Beirut and may be another Lebanon IRC office.
