The M&E and Innovation Officer reports to Senior Programme Manager
Major Responsibilities:
Work with field teams to ensure data is being collected and entered regularly in a timely fashion and according to established standards.
Analyze assessment data, based on the analysis plan and produce statistics and charts and ensure the results feed meaningfully into program design and reports
Assist the CP Coordinator and Senior Programme Manager in drafting analysis reports based on the assessment findings, and participate in identifying program corrective measures as required
Maintains the beneficiary databases, according to activity info disaggregation of data, and in ensuring that number to beneficiaries is timely tracked and ready to be used for reporting purposes.
Enters data in activity info on a monthly basis
Compiles data from focus group discussions with beneficiaries and community representatives
Draft and submit reports of each field visits on a timely basis and shares them with CP Coordinator and Senior Programme Manager
In cooperation with the CP Coordinator and the Senior Programme Manager participates in the proposal development efforts for 2015 in order to have a ready to go M&E strategy as well as to develop comprehensive project-specific monitoring electronic tools and forms to collect weekly and monthly quantitative data, including beneficiary satisfaction surveys; pre and post trainings tests, etc.
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to users of in-house developed and open source applications.

Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Program Management or related field
Demonstrable writing and copy editing skills
Fluency in English and Arabic.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the area of M&E and/or minimum of three years in a technical customer support role, with excellent general IT troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in developing and managing databases
Demonstrated experience and capacity in conducting field-level data collection and data entry
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in data analysis
Demonstrated software development experience.
Strong ability to work independently, organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility
INGO experience preferred
Personal qualities: works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well.
