M&e And Training Officer, Women’S Protection And Empowerment-

SCOPE OF WORK: The WPE M&E and Training Officer is part of the WPE team based in Beirut but with 75% of the time in the field. He/She will cover two aspects of WPE programming 1)     Primary responsibility for Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of WPE activities and building staff capacity on M&E; 2)     Providing trainings to the WPE team, service providers other actors to develop understanding and skills on gender based violence (GBV) programming.   The WPE M&E and Training Officer reports directly to the WPE Coordinator and will support WPE Managers and staff in Bekaa and North Lebanon. He/she is responsible of the overall M&E plan and support training delivery.   SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The WPE M&E and Training Officer is specifically responsible for the following tasks: Develop in collaboration with the WPE Coordinator an M&E plan that integrates the donor indicator including minimum standards for GBV programming; Provide a briefing M&E package to the WPE team for them to be aware of indicators and how to collect the information, ensuring no double counting that is complaint with GBV guiding principles of safety, confidentiality, respect and non-discrimination; Develop in collaboration with the WPE Coordinator weekly and monthly reporting template for the different areas of IRC WPE programming; Provide on-going mentoring and training to WPE staff on M&E; Produce weekly and monthly report of WPE activities and carry out analysis that is integrated in the report and feedback to the team as required; Oversee the collection, analysis, and utilization of Gender Based Violence Information Management System (IMS); Support teams in the delivery of training by co facilitating and leading trainings as required- Basic GBV Concepts, GBV referral pathways, GBV risk reduction, Case Management etc. Other Ensure activities are done in accordance with IRC logistics policy and in a timely manner to ensure the successful implementation of programs; Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs.   Professional Standards All IRC staff are required to adhere to THE IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct and the IRC country employment policies.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree/ diploma in Social Work, Women’s Studies, or other related field;
• Clear understanding of gender inequality, and issues surrounding violence against women and girls;
• Ability to lead, train, supervise, facilitate and motivate other staff in their respective tasks in a professional, respectful and supportive manner;
• Positive and professional attitude, able to organize, maintain composure and prioritize work under pressure, work overtime when necessary and be able to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail;
• Ability to work as a member of a team essential;
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of GBV IMS an asset;
• Fluency in Arabic required.
• Ability to communicate in English and write clear and concise reports in English strongly preferred.
