Monitoring Assistant

The Monitoring Assistant will assist the Logistics and Infrastructure officer in collecting information on program activities, including monitoring fuel deliveries for heating, monitoring warehouse deliveries of supplies and monitoring class supplies for IRC’s community classes. This information monitoring and collection will assist the IRC Education Department in delivering the highest possible quality education services to out of school children in North Lebanon.  Major Responsibilities: Working with the Logistics and Infrastructure Officer to monitor vital class activities and supplies including: Fuel for heating Class supplies and materials Warehouse stock and receipts of school supplies from suppliers Any other monitoring/data collection needs from IRC’s class sites across Akkar Key Working Relationships: Position Reports to:  Education Manager-Akkar Position directly supervises:  None Indirect Reporting:  Logistics and Infrastructure Officer-Akkar Job Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree Work Experience: Experience in delivering monitoring activities/logistics Demonstrated Skills and Competencies: Comfort in working in ITS locations and in close proximity with refugee families. Language Skills:  Arabic. Some English beneficial. Certificates or Licenses: Working Environment:  The position will be primarily mobile, with extensive travel in and near ITS camps across Akkar. There will be a small component of the job delivered in the Education office (data inputting/clarifications).  Working hours: 25 hours per week
