Psychosocial Drama, Music And Art Therapy Professionals

BACKGROUND: The International Rescue Committee is an international organization specializing in emergency and humanitarian programming, existing since 1933 and working in more than 40 countries. In response to the influx of Syrian refugees in Lebanon, the IRC started a Women’s Protection and Empowerment (WPE) program and a Livelihood program in 2012 with program strategies implemented in various locations in the North and Bekaa Governorates. IRC is now complementing its response with a Child Protection (CP) program.   SCOPE OF WORK: The arts professional will be working directly with IRC staff to conduct drama, music or art sessions with street and working children. IRC staff conducts psychosocial activities with street and working children on a weekly basis and is currently looking for art professionals with experience working with children to complete an arts project within a 3 month time frame.   Position objectives: To ensure that children participate in designing and implementing their art project with an aim to perform, or exhibit their work at the end of the 3 month workshop cycle. To provide children with guidance and tools on self expression through art. To ensure that sessions are organized and structured and that children are working towards an end goal in a team. To directly work with the street educators implementing psychosocial activities and case workers to highlight any challenges.   Who this position reports to: Street and Working Children Manager and works closely with the Street Educators.   RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Quality Specialized skills and training in working with children through the arts, music and/or drama. Proven experience of working with children. Demonstrable experience of events and projects implemented with and by children. Examples and presentations of the outcome of art initiatives conducted with children in challenging settings. Any other relevant CP activities as required   Coordination & Representation Collaborate closely with the children, Psychosocial and case management team. Plan the initial consultative process with children and Street Educators to ensure the planned activities are of interest to children. Provide planning of the sessions in advance to the Street and Working Children Manager. Professional Standards All IRC volunteers, staff and service providers are required to adhere to the IRC Way standards for professional conduct and the IRC country employment policies. Upholds high standards of professionalism when working with children.   REQUIREMENTS: Team player. Technical diploma in the arts (music, drumming, drama, photography). A solid understanding of the needs of street and working children. Flexible and able to re-schedule sessions when it does not suit street and working children’s schedule. Patience Experience of implementing art projects with children. Demonstrated understanding of working with children and particularly vulnerable children Personal qualities: Team player, flexible, network-builder, able to handle pressure well and work in cross-cultural setting. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic. English speaking is a plus.       الخلفيّة:  لجنة الإنقاذ الدولية هي منظمة دولية متخصصة في الطوارئ و البرامج الإنسانية ، قائمة منذ عام 1933 و تعمل في أكثر من 40 بلدا. إستجابةً  لتدفق اللاجئين السوريين في لبنان ، بدأت لجنة الإنقاذ الدولية  عملها في لبنان في العام 2012 على تطبيق برنامج حماية المرأة و تمكينها  (WPE ) ، برنامج سبل العيشERD)) في محافظات الشمال و البقاع. و تكمل لجنة الإنقاذ الدولية الآن عملها مع برنامج حماية الطفل (CP)   نطاق العمل: يعمل العامل الإجتماعي داخل مجتمعه، يشارك وبطريقة فعلية في تحديد حالة حماية الطفل. تطبيق مراحل إدارة الحالة لحالات الحماية.   أهداف المنصب: ضمان تحديد حالة الحماية عند الأطفال، وتلقي الدعم الفردي لإدارة الحالة وذلك عن طريق التوثيق، والتقييم وتقديم خطة عمل وتوفير الخدمات المباشرة والإحالات والمتابعة الفردية.  تقديم الدعم للأسر في عملية إدارة الحالة، بما في ذلك تعزيز الرعاية البديلة  العمل المباشر مع عاملين اجتماعيين ومقدمي الخدمات الأخرى على إدارة  الحالات والإحالات   المسؤول عنه:  الأخصائي الإجتماعي الأول   المسؤوليات:   المسؤوليات التقنية:   هو نقطة محورية لتحديد حالة حماية الطفل  توفير تقديم خدمات إدارة الحالات وفقاً للمعاير الأساسية. تأمين تدخيل البيانات بشكل صحيح وفقاً لمعايير إدارة الحالة. التأكد من أن جميع حالات المستوى الأوّل يتم إحالته للمسؤول المناسب. توفير الدعم المستمر للأسر، وتعزيز نظم الرعاية البديلة. غيرها من الأنشطة ذات صلة ببرنامج حماية الطفل   التنسيق والتمثيل • التعاون الوثيق مع فريق الدعم النفسي الإجتماعي وفريق القطاعات الأخرى • حضور اجتماعات إدارة الحالة بانتظام .   المعايير المهنية:   • يطلب من جميع المتطوعين في لجنة الإنقاذ الدولية إلى الالتزام ب بمعايير العمل العالمية وسياسات التطبيق المحلية.   المتطلبات: • دبلوم أو درجة تقنية في العمل الاجتماعي أو درجة ذات الصلة يفضل • الحد الأدنى من 2 سنوات من الخبرة في تنفيذ برامج حماية الطفل، والعمل الاجتماعي أو إدارة الحالة، في الحالات الإنسانية أو التنمية فهم حالة الأطفال العاملين وخصوصاً الأطفال المعرضين للخطر الطلاقة في اللغة العربية كتابة وتحدثا. تحدث الانجليزية مرحب
