Sr. Entrepreneurship Development Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:           Programme Implementation Assist the Entrepreneurship Development Manager in monitoring and guiding the advertising company and the media service providers in the development and launch of the information campaign Participate in carrying out market analysis and business feasibility studies Serve as the principal liaison between the business incubators and IRC and assist in coordinating activities between all stakeholders including the private sector and the Ministry of Social Affairs Assist the Entrepreneurship Development Manager in developing training materials and delivering training to the implementing partners Monitor and participate in the delivery of training and mentoring sessions to entrepreneurs Review the business expansion plans and provide comments and guidance to entrepreneurs though the implementing partners Supervise and monitor the progression of activities, and assist entrepreneurs in implementing their business expansion plans Liaise with the entrepreneurs and make sure that support services are timely and effective Collect data with assistance from the M&E Manager and supervision from the Entrepreneurship Development Manager  Programme Monitoring & Reporting Undertake daily monitoring visits to assess progress and identify technical quality issues and/or other implementation issues, provide solutions and implement modifications as required Support the M&E Manager in the development of the M&E framework and tools Provide inputs for SitReps and regular reports for IRC donors on grant activities, progress, indicators, and achievements as specified in grant agreements and reporting schedules.  Coordination Liaise with advertising company and media service providers  Other: Other duties as assigned by the Entrepreneurship Development Manager  Professional Standards All IRC staff are required to adhere to THE IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct and the IRC country employment policies.  REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Arts or Science in Business Management, Economics, Agriculture, or related field 2-3 years of technical experience implementing entrepreneurship development programs 1-2 years of experience in market analysis and business feasibility studies Experience in facilitating technical trainings and workshops related to business management and entrepreneurship development Prior experience within business incubators preferred Strong ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility Personal qualities: Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well Fluency in English and Arabic required, written and spoken.  WORK ENVIRNOMENT:  Travel and other requirements: The Officers are expected to be based in the South of Lebanon, and to travel to Beirut for coordination with the rest of the team..
