Job Title : Data Entry Clerk
Reports to : Project Activity Manager and technically to the Meal/Reporting Assistant
Duty Station : Tyre
Position Type : Full time
Job Purpose:
Supports thoroughly the Information Management unit of the Protection and ECHO project in the constant availability of updated project linked data, their correct entry into external and internal databases, their maintenance and analysis with support of the Protection Manager and Project manager.
Generic Duties:
- Receive daily and weekly reports/reporting & data documents from the project activity manager, social workers, psychologists and case workers and store them correctly
- Assist the project team in the preparation and revision of data and M&E reports related to field activities (weekly/monthly/quarterly) donor reports and other ad hoc reports
- Compile the monitoring tools on weekly basis (WSS, PCAP, ECA Tracking sheet, PSS tools...etc.)
- Prepare protection and PSS reports when needed
- Comply with donors’ monitoring requirement adopting ad hoc monitoring tools, systems and databases (ex. Activity Info, Internal Reporting System, Refugee Assistance Information System –RAIS- Primero)
- Responsible for data entry of GBVIMS
- Support field staff in preparing data processed
- Contributing to the development of new tools for data collection and analysis
- Support in the translation of documents when necessary
- Support in the preparation of basic visibility materials (mainly content) in order to compel with donors and internal requirements.
- Be available to take part in meetings organized at INTERSOS office or in other offices as per management request.
- Further to proper check-ups enters on daily base all data into external (UN & partner) and internal (INTERSOS) data bases
- Process weekly, monthly and quarterly internal and external qualitative and quantitative reports
- May be asked to perform other related duties as identified by his supervisor.
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly quantitative and qualitative updates on the base of the tools adopted.
- Ensure the effective adoption of internal and external monitoring systems
- Support the PM in visibility design when needed.
- Cross check and verify data quality and accurate reporting from the field level focusing on clarity, accuracy, consistency and reliability.
- Provide assistance in translating and analysing data from FGDs and surveys into reports for ECHO Project
- Support in conducting surveys, FGDs and individual interviews when needed. He/she should be responsible about analysing the data and providing a detailed report.
- Support the meal assistant and the meal manager in meal activities when needed
Specific Duties:
(Can be adapted to the particularities of the job location and the requirement of the project. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired).
Other tasks:
- Support the Project team with:
- Extract the needed data from Knack and make the required analysis when needed
- Flag to the project activity manager gap or challenge on Knack
- Be ready to recieve team querries about the any data issue related to knack or the other monitoring tools filed on weekly basis
