INTERSOS is a non-profit humanitarian aid organisation that works to bring assistance to people in danger, victims of natural disasters and armed conflicts. Established in 1992 with support from the Italian Federation of Trade Unions, its actions are based on the values of solidarity, justice, human dignity, equal rights and opportunities for all people and respect for diversity and coexistence, paying particular attention to the most vulnerable and the unprotected.

INTERSOS is an independent association which, through its own humanitarian operators, intervenes to effectively answer the needs of people in serious crises situations, mainly in the world's poorest regions, who are suffering, deprived of rights, dignity and essentials goods. It maintains a flexible operating structure. The head office in Italy coordinates, supports and monitors the planned activities in the countries of intervention carried out by decentralised offices.
Job Purpose:
Supports thoroughly the Information Management unit of the Protection projects in the constant availability of updated project linked data, and ensure their correct entry into external and internal databases, their maintenance and analysis with support of the Protection Manager and Reporting Officer.
Generic Duties:
- Receives weekluy and Monthly reports/reporting & data documents from the Protection Officers (POs), Field Assitants (FAs) and Senior Case Workers and store them correctly.
- Assists the Reporting Officer (RO) in the preparation and revision of data and M&E reports related to field activities donor reports and other ad hoc reports.
- Works for finalizing the weekly, monthly and quarterly report of Protection activities.
- Supports Project Manager on internal monitoring tools (Project Appraisal Tool).
- Responsible of the internal monitoring tools of Protection activities
- Collect and prepare the data for analyzing them in the Protection Monitoring weekly/monthly/quarterly report.
- Books cases on RAIS and update data in Activity Info.
- Responsible for data entry of GBVIMS and Protection Monitoring.Supports field staff in preparing data processed and collection
- Contributes to the development of new tools for data collection and analysis.
- Supports in the transalation of documents when necessary.
- Take part in meetings organized at INTERSOS office or in other offices as per management request.
- Further to proper check-ups enters on daily base all data into external (UN & partner) and internal (INTERSOS) data bases.
- May be asked to perform other related duties as identified by his supervisor.
Specific Duties:

Other tasks:
- Supporting in leading the data entry team when needed.
- Support Protection team with:
- Creating new Data bases.
- Data entry for reports.
Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Professional Competencies:
- Minimum 1 year or relevant experience in related field.
- MS Proficiency (word, excel, etc).
