Programme Quality Monitoring Assistant

Job Purpose: The Programme Quality Monitoring Assistant is responsible for ensuring quality implementation of INTERSOS projects in South according to INTERSOS procedures.   General duties: Conduct regular monitoring field visits and quality checks to project sites in accordance with supervisor instructions. Assist in the coordination of Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews  (KIIs) in line with INTERSOS’ key performance framework and AGD approach Assist the data team in interagency research studies and evaluations as requested Plan data collection according to identified needs and gaps   Specific duties: (Can be adapted to the particularities of the job location and the requirement of the project. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired). In collaboration with Project Managers and Quality Management Team, support the development and implementation of participatory monitoring tools and processes as well as the effective communication of monitoring information as per agreed objectives. Support in data compilation data from surveys using relevant and appropriate computer packages Ensure the safe storage and archiving of the databases under her/his responsibility Assist the Quality Manager and Reporting Associates in data analysis and report writing as required Accompany programme teams during key interventions Assist in the establishment and day to day management of a monitoring database and support in the collection and maintenance of geographic baseline and thematic data. Prepare informative field reports, identify gaps and capacities and make relevant recommendations on a regular basis Ensure respect of crosscutting themes (gender, protection etc.) during activities Document all project complaints and responses centrally and as directed. Engage the community in an appropriate and respectful manner, manage expectations and provide excellent client orientation Solicitation of community feedback on programs, commitments and staff conduct through systematized tools to receive feedback Compile and submit quality reports to the Quality Manager as directed. Ensure that all reports are highly accurate, comprehensive, well documented and will guarantee the credibility of the program; Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and annual work plans, and implement the approved work plans (upon request) Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, participate in the logistical and administrative organization, planning and preparation of monitoring visits. Follow up of the use of monitoring tools for frontline staff and the Google Drive and address gaps as necessary Cross check and verify data quality and accurate reporting from the field level to the Data Unit focusing on clarity, accuracy, consistency and reliability. Develop key communication channels and regular platforms and PSEA friendly tools for information sharing (referrals, rights and entitlements and available services) for beneficiaries and staff  Respect and promote INTERSOS’ policies and report to Quality Manager any non-respect of policies amongst the teams or partners. Follow up and develop the implementation of the M&E plan and its adaptation for different projects as necessary Attend trainings, when and where necessary, provided internally or externally in accordance with donor and INTERSOS requirements. Support in internal and external monitoring requirements and databases (ex. Activity Info, Prism, RAIS, and the Project Appraisal Tool - PAT). Support the Reporting Associate in implementing the rounds of the Community Feedback (ie: internal and external dialogue meetings with PMs, field teams and key staff). Assist in development of adapting questions based on feedback and integrating feedback into course correction Accomplish any other tasks requested by the reporting associate or quality manager in accordance with INTERSOS requirements. Support the Reporting Associate in cloud-based IT tool development (i.e.: Case Management platform and the development of the referral platform) Support the Reporting Associate in the development and periodic updating of the M&E plan and Reporting Tools Table, gathering inputs from the field level     Competencies:  (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)   Professional Competencies: -      Proficient in MS office (word, excel..) -      Valid Lebanese driving licence -      Previous experience in Humanitarian Work preferable   Behavioural competencies: -      High integrity and honesty -      Ability to meet deadlines -      High organisational skills -      Excellent communication and organizational skills -      Very good negotiation and interpersonal skills with national & international staff -      Analytical skills -      Ability to work under challenging conditions
