Job Purpose:
The overall task of the Project suport is to support the Project Manager and the INTERSOS management staff in the implementation of the project. She / he will contribute to the accurate realization of all assigned project activities and their relative economic and financial administration.
Generic Duties:
- Assist the Project Manager in management and implementation process of the project.
- Facilitate youth (girls and boys) and men activities under this project with the support of the centres facilitators.
- Support in defining and applying roles, procedures, operating process and working methodologies required to ensure a proper management of the project.
- Assist in ensuring that project teams develop detailed activity plans in line with the objectives of donor proposals.
- Participate in monitoring of project activities gathering information to be reported into the PAT.
- Contribute in designing weekly activities and writing monthly reports.
- Assist in the preparation of documents for interim and final financial reports required by donors.
- Assist the Project Manager and the staff involved in the execution of procurement procedures and the administrative and finance department for the preparation of contracts with awarded suppliers; follow-up on contract signing and document/payment delivery and collection.
- In coordination with logistic sector organize and supervise all logistic aspects and documentation for good/supplies: request for bid, quotations, final delivery/distribution records.
- Support the Project Manager in the preparation of all project documentation up until its conclusion, including the organization of the project archive.
- Take pictures and correlated information on activities carried out and any other matters pertaining the area of intervention during field visits.
- Participate in staff coordination meetings and contribute to follow up the project activities.
- Attend meetings and events organized by donors and/or other humanitarian agencies, providing minutes to the Project Manager.
- Maintain good relationship with relevant authorities.
- Support the development of new concepts and project proposals, including research and drafting specific sections of concepts and proposals.
- Report any problem or concern to the Project Manager.
- Perform other related duties upon request to support the project team and the project implementation process.
Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Professional Competencies:
- Knowledge of humanitarian and NGO principles;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience;
- High Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook, Photoshop);
- Valid Driving License.
Behavioral competencies:
- Ability to manage multiple activities;
- Superior communication and organizational development skills;
- Very good Interpersonal skill;
- Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrate capacity of teamwork and of coordination with the relevant actors;
