Psychologist

Job Purpose: Being part of the mobile unit of LHF funded-project, to provide qualified specialized services and individual psychological support for People with Specific Needs and individual at risk in the different areas of intervention.   Generic and Specific Duties: Assess the needs of the targeted beneficiaries in each center and design, in collaboration with the staff, a package of PSS activities for the beneficiaries of the project; Support INTERSOS staff to improve the quality of specialized services provided (specialized psychological services, group therapy, individual counseling) for PwSN and individual at risk in the different areas of intervention; psychological support for elderly and people with disabilities. Monitor the activities (awareness and support groups) and provide management advice in order to improve the activities implementation; Report to the Project Coordinator any problems and/or training needs identified during the monitoring of the implementation of psychological activities. Produce and maintain in an accurate way a weekly and monthly report of the activities conducted; Informs the Project Coordinator about any difficulty met in INTERSOS activities implementation; Be available to train on psychological support and first aid INTERSOS staff when requested; Collaborate with INTERSOS staff in conducting any other trainings when requested by the PC; Accomplish any other assignments given by supervisors or the PC. Be available to participate in meetings in INTERSOS offices or other identified premises. Provide to the Protection Coordinator and Project Coordinator a weekly and monthly report on the activities conducted. Conducts emotional supports groups for elderly and people with disabilities.     Competencies:  (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)   Professional Competencies: -      Understanding and commitment to child’s rights and protection -      Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience and 1 in NGO -      Computer literacy (Word, Excel, outlook) -      Analytical and reporting skills -      Driving License   Behavioural competencies: -                     High confidentiality and respect. -                     Ability to work under pressure -                     High degree of flexibility -                     Excellent interpersonal and  communication skills
