Psychologist (Mount Lebanon)

Job Purpose: Support INTERSOS staff to improve the quality of specialized services and provide individual psychological support provided for GBV survivors, early marriage cases  and individual at risk in the different CAFS.     Generic Duties: Assess the needs of the targeted beneficiaries in each center and advise and support PSS Specialist on PSS activities to improve and support beneficiaries of INTERSOS centre; Design activities with psychological purposes for vulnerable children, youth, women at risk, PwSN and men attending INTERSOS CAFS in collaboration with the therapist; Support INTERSOS staff to improve the quality of specialized services provided (specialized psychological services, group therapy, individual counseling for GBV survivors, early marriage cases and individual at risk in the different CAFS; psychological support for GBV survivors and early marriage cases. Monitor the activities (awareness and support groups), within the centers and outside, and provide management advice in order to improve the activities implementation; Ensure a correct individual psychological support for GBV survivors and early marriage cases in all INTERSOS CAFS. Report to the FAC and the Project Management any problems and/or training needs identified during the monitoring of the implementation of psychological activities. Produce and maintain in an accurate way a weekly and monthly report of the activities conducted; Informs the Project Management about any difficulty met in INTERSOS activities implementation; Be available to train on psychological support and first aid INTERSOS staff when requested; Collaborate with INTERSOS staff in conducting any other trainings when requested by the PM; Accomplish any other assignments given by supervisors or the PM. Be available to participate in meetings in INTERSOS offices or other identified premises. Provide to the Project Management a weekly and monthly report on activities conducted and any trends or challenges identified. Ensure appropriate  presence in all centers of INTERSOS in Mount Lebanon, Bekaa, and South regions ;   Competencies:  (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)   Professional Competencies: -      Understanding and commitment to child’s rights and protection -      Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience and 1 in NGO -      Computer literacy (Word, Excel, outlook) -      Analytical and reporting skills -      Driving License   Behavioural competencies: -                     High confidentiality and respect. -                     Ability to work under pressure -                     High degree of flexibility -                     Excellent interpersonal and  communication skills
