Tav Team Leader Based/living In Rachaya Only (Contributing Towards Ensuring Food Security For Vulnerable Conflict-Affected Syrian Refugees In Lebanon)

Based in Rachaya with daily movements to the field, the Team Leader (TL) will make sure that his/her team - composed of a number of sub-teams of 2 enumerators/surveyors each - achieves their daily target on the number of Syrian refugees’ households (HHs) to be interviewed and assessed to collect correct and reliable information according to their specific role in the survey. The success of the data collection and the whole data reliability depends on the skills of every enumerator, his/her ability to conduct the related tasks and the TL’s competence to make sure that both the quantitative and qualitative targets are met on a daily basis. The TL will mentor, train, assess and organise his/her team and report to the International Project Manager on a daily basis on any issue that might arise, already arouse, and lessons learned both at team and interview/survey management level. The TL will manage the list, number and location of HHs to be interviewed in any given day, assign the HHs to each team of enumerators who will have to liaise accordingly to the HH members to arrange the time of the interview in their settlement, making sure that no time is wasted and the daily target of HHs interviewed is consistently reached.  In line with the TL’s required accountability, the TL will also conduct random household interviews him/herself on a daily basis and on randomly selected HHs to double-check the quality and possible bias of the data collected by the enumerators. The TL will be proficient in the use of any ANDROID device (smartphones and tablets) that will be used to send, to a central server, the data collected in digital formats. In brief, the TL is responsible for coordinating and organising the overall deployment of the teams of enumerators in the field, training them and assessing the quality of the data collected at household level, reporting to the International Project Manager on a daily basis on issues and targets. The TL will also be fully responsible for his/her own agenda, in order to inform on a daily basis and on a timely manner (at least 1 day before the interviews take place) the relevant members of the municipalities hosting the HHs and in which the interviews will be conducted.  The TL is also in charge of INTERSOS representation and coordination at field level.
