Warehouse Assisteant Manager

Main Objectives: The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for the management of the 9 Field Warehouse, ensuring a professional and efficient implementation of all the logistic procedures and activities. He will assure the security systems are effective and functional and will duly and timely reports any concerns. He is responsible for security guards working schedule and will manage an attendance sheet. He/she is in charge of tasks concerning transport, storage and distribution management. Reporting to: The Assistant Warehouse Manager reports directly to the Warehouse Manager in Bekaa; He produces a weekly and monthly report on inventory status and stock movement to be submitted to the Warehouse Manager and the Project Manager in Zahle, as well as to the Head of Mission at country level. Specific duties and responsibilities: Responsible for the management of the ORGANISATION 9 field warehouse/s, in line with the ORGANISATION policies. Ensure that accurate and complete accounting, reporting and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are properly maintained. Ensure that standard systems are properly maintained at warehouses. Assess the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans prior to programming/contingency commodities arrivals. Supervise the receipt of all arriving consignments. Monitor the quantity and quality of goods stored. Carry out regular physical random warehouse checks of goods and perform an inventory. Prepare all procedures and necessary steps for commodity disposal; Produce regular stocks reports and daily stocks positions; Prepare loading plans and ensure that standard waybills are duly complete. Perform other related duties as required. Technical and behavioral competencies required: Ability to set high standards for quality of work; Good communication skills, both written and oral; Master of IT tools (MS Office package, internet, e-mail, etc.). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with analytic approach; Ability to integrate and work well within multiethnic and multicultural teams; Ability to achieve results effectively, considering the need for speed, scale and quality; Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.
