Call for Expressions of Interest: Bidding for the RES.Q Project's Material Recovery Facility

The RES.Q Project is a vital initiative in Southern Lebanon, aiming to implement an integrated solid waste management system that promotes a circular economy model. Serving a population of approximately 80,000, including 7,000 refugees, the project processes around 26,000 tons of solid waste annually from 22 towns. The planned facility in Kfartebnit will include a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) with two lines:

  • Line 1: Designated for sorted recyclable materials waste and will serve as a standby for Line 2.
  • Line 2: Designated for sorting source-separated composting material and comingled waste.

Additionally, the facility will include composting, Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT), a polishing line, and a biofilter

We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified contractors with experience in solid waste management. Interested organizations are encouraged to submit their company profile, details of expertise in the solid waste management sector, and a list of similar completed projects.
