Birmingham, UK, with a presence in over 40 countries around the globe. We have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years after receiving our first donation in 1984. Islamic Relief

Lebanon has been active in Lebanon since 2006 as a response for the Israeli attack on Lebanon to support the Lebanese people who were affected by war. At the end of 2011, Islamic Relief

Responded to the Syrian crisis after the flow of Syrian refugees to Lebanon. Since 2011 up to

2015, IRL has been supporting people affected by the conflict in Syria including Syrian refugees,

Lebanese returnees and Palestinian refugees.

Project’s context:

Through this project, Islamic Relief will Launch a medical campaign  from volunteering doctors from Canada who will visit 2 areas in Lebanon to provide primary health care assistance and some ophthalmic surgery’s ( cataract ), then IRL  will follow up in secondary health care assistance. The project beneficiaries will be from the Syrian refugees, Palestinian refugees, and from the Lebanese host community. In addition to that, the medical delegation will share experiences and update the medical center’s teams of the latest international medical trends in diagnosis and treatment of various specialties and these needs will be identified through a pre-need assessment. This project aims to focus on the importance of healthcare, (Primary and Secondary health care), capacity building for medical centers, training for local doctors and support one PHC and one hospital with medical equipment and medical disposables as an emergency response to the huge need of medical services.

 

Requirements:

 

Islamic relief Lebanon desires to purchase equipment requested for IR Canada Medical Mission. Companies that are interested in entering this bid are requested to receive the bidding document from the Islamic relief office in Lebanon.

The final deadline to take the document and place your offer is Tuesday 13-03-2018. The bid should be placed in a closed enveloped sealed with the company’s logo on the front of the envelope.

 

Please note:

1. Only high profile companies are required to submit to this bid.
2. Companies that interested in this bid should be subjected to VAT
3. Currency in Lebanese pounds and the exchange rate is 1$=1500 LBP.

 

Deadline of submission of Tender: 13.03.2018 at 13:00 Hrs.

 

Tender document can be collected from the Islamic relief office at Sharhabyil,  Jayesh  Street, Jamal Zareef Building 5 1st Floor or by requesting it by sending a request message on the email address below.

Eligibility Requirements

 

To be eligible for consideration of this tender, a tenderer should meet the following requirements:

 

1. Company Registered and has a financial number and VAT number.
2. Flexible in payments.
3. Clear proposal stamped and signed by the company name.
4. Has a bank account by the company name (same as company name used to apply to tender) and can receive external bank transfer.
5. No proposal will be accepted through email, please submit them to the office (address above, sealed and stamped).
