Assistant Project Engineer/ Forman

Overall Responsibility Under the supervision of the Project Engineer, Assistant Prpject Engineer/ Forman is responsible for assisting in the implementation, monitoring the construction activities of a kidney Dialysis Unit in Tripoli (Near Al Baddwi camp) and following up and supervising with the counterparties (contractor, Worker and stakeholders). Main Duties and Responsibilities Assisting in preparing bill of quantities (BOQ) for the unit technically evaluated on the field. Review the design. Monitoring progress during each phase of a project. Daily visits to the construction sites assessing the quality and quantity of the work done by the contractor (very good knowledge of materials, specification and prices). Dealing with contractors/ workers/ sub- contractors/ owner/ other stakeholders. Analyze survey, mapping and materials-testing data. Draw up shopdrawings and as built drawing, using computer aided design (cad) packages. Ensure and promote efficient and cost effective use of IR’s assets and resources in order to maximize funding to beneficiaries. Follow up the rehabilitation of the kidney Dialysis Unit. Ensure that standards (e.g safety, security, environmental, quantity, quality) are followed during service provision. Gather and share appropriate information that would enhance the project implementation. Ensure that all Services- related data (e.g, activity monitoring) is well managed and provides an accurate representation of the reality on the ground.
