Overall Responsibility To provide support in management of ICT Systems, and for strategic planning, implementation and support of technology products and services that anticipate and meet organization and business needs.   Main Duties and Responsibilities KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Regular contact with Program, Finance, Logistics and other departments of IRL and ICT at IRW for smooth coordination and provision of best ICT related Services to relevant stack holders.   SCOPE AND AUTHORITY Scope of the Role: Reporting to the Finance & Admin Manager, the Assistant IT Officer is responsible for overall management of ICT Systems, and for strategic planning, implementation and support of technology products and services that anticipate and meet organization and business needs of Islamic relief Lebanon.     Responsibility for Resources: to  Provide maximum performance and availability of ICT resources for the users and administering and maintaining corporate infrastructures, including network connectivity, Mail Server, Domain model, Security and System development. Well versed with the administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.   KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Installing and configuring of computer hardware operating systems and applications. Troubleshooting Computer hardware’s, peripherals and network problems and diagnosing/Solving hardware/software faults. Responsible for implementation of IRL standard IT protocols in use of Software’s and Internet. Assistant IT Officer will be responsible for regular backups of all computer systems per week within office and make sure that there is adequate security provisioning on all data storage devices. Assistant IT Officer will be responsible for Monthly IT report, Communication Directory and Data Backups and will make sure all reports should be shared with Line manager on Monthly Bases. Responsible for the IT stock management and IT asset tracking. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, monitoring and problem solving.   Other Related Duties: Provide high degree of professionalism and end user satisfaction and work well with others. Ensuring that all ICT equipment complies with industry standards. Ensuring maximum data security with backup and disaster recovery of computer system. Supervising other staff, such as help-desk technicians. To provide management and technical support to the development team. Implementation of IRL technology policy. Ability to manage website file hosting. Managing email host server, previous knowledge of POP and IMAP email protocols. Monitoring and tracking Dynamics AX workflow problems and errors. Produce effective and summarized reports as and when required. . Networking and Communication To represent IRL on any IT related forum on UN Clusters or other local NGO’s forum.   Reporting Prepare Field Visit reports and evaluation reports of all field visits of field offices. Prepare on timely manner, monthly reports for line manager. Prepare monthly and weekly work plans and submit them to the line manager.   Travel The IT Officer is expected to spend a minimum of 20% of his/her time on the field
