Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Regular monitoring of field activities for the successful and smooth implementation of IRL Child Welfare projects.
- Ensuring a proper project cycle channel for IRL Child Welfare projects.
- Work in a team to do needs assessment and related analysis.
- Assist the Programmes Manager in writing concept notes and proposals to institutional donors and stakeholders.
- Establishing suitable goals, action plans and time lines.
- Liaising with the Programmes Manager on the progress of partnership projects achieved.
- Submitting daily updates, weekly and monthly reports to the Programmes manager on the targets achieved and the progress of the project activities agreed upon in the detailed work plans.
- Identifying gaps in implementation of IRL Child welfare projects and suggest actions for improvement to the Programmes Manager.
- Providing necessary support to the Programmes Manager in arranging any meeting/ training/ seminar/ workshop, etc.
- Regular monitoring of field activities for the successful and smooth implementation of IRL projects.
- Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects or any other place directed by the Programmes Manager, related to the role /work.
- Working in a team to do needs assessment and related analysis.
- Maintain a strong coordination process with all support departments (finance, HR, Procurement & Logistics, M&E, Media, IT, etc.)
- Represent IRL in local and international seminars and cluster meetings.
- Willing and able to travel and have training as assigned by Programmes Manager
- Carry out Other related assignments instructed by the Programmes Manager
Person Specification
Experience / Education/Skills- Essential
- A bachelor degree from an accredited University with major course in Social work or Related Field.
- Minimum 3 years of relative experience, preferred with international NGOs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal & technical skills.
- To be ready to work overtime and readiness to travel.
Ability To
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Read, comprehend and interpret written materials of moderate to complex difficulty.
- Records management systems (both automated and paper files) to ensure accurate maintenance of files and ease of retrieval.
- Word-processing, spreadsheet and database software programs related to job functions.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Language
- Fluency in English & Arabic (written and spoken).
IT skills
- Proficiency in MS office and the ability to use software necessary for project management and reporting.
General Skills
- V. Good technical reporting skills.
- Strong planning, communications and coordination skills.

- Diplomacy, tact & negotiation skills.
