Social Worker

Overall Responsibility Social Worker will be responsible for assisting and providing support to the Project Coordinator/ Project Officer in daily planning and implementations of the project. The social worker will be responsible for the Child Protection Network that would facilitate sharing of resources in prevention, response, collaboration with the partners in responding to the orphans’ needs and protection.   Main Duties and Responsibilities Assess the needs and priorities of the targeted beneficiaries from orphans Ensure establishing of Child Protection network for implementing activities with child protection policy Design CP network Term of Reference to achieve the goals and the objectives of the network Follow up network meeting with the participants with proper Agenda on monthly basis Collaborate with the partners and volunteers to create and implement social activities in the centers and the communities Assisting the project officer in the preparation and arrangements of any activity related to assessment and field based on the CP network decisions Follow the beneficiaries being assisted on different levels and ensure the assistance has delivered. Participate in planning and implementing psychosocial activities for beneficiaries through project volunteers Plans, organizes, conducts and documents awareness sessions for caregivers and orphans Conducts regular visits to centers in the field, monitor and identify child protection concerns Ensure data are well organized and filed both soft and hard copies. Submitting daily updates, and weekly and monthly reports to the project Coordinator or Project Officer on the targets achieved and the progress of the project activities and network meetings agreed upon in the detailed work plans.
