DESCRIPTION of Work: 

The trainer will undertake the following key tasks:

A qualified and experienced trainer is to be selected to conduct trainings for youth with less opportunities to help them receive capacity building and gain skills that will allow them to generate income. The trainer will deliver a highly interactive training sessions to the selected participants to provide them with the main elements of baking as well as the business insights and marketing aspects of Bakery which offer the trainees the opportunity to become self-sufficient by developing their own business model or be integrated in the existing labor market.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare curriculum and training presentations
  • Conduct Bakery trainings for 30 hours per week
  • Apply theoretical and practical trainings
  • Fulfil the relevant administrative tasks
  • Coordinate with the focal person at the training center
  • Develop training report at the end of each month
  • Maintaining a record of success stories and share it with the Program Manager
  • Regularly update the course content as per the market needs and requirements

The trainings should cover (not exclusive to): 

  • Fundamentals of Baking
  • Fundamentals of Patisserie
  • Baking Techniques
  • Baking Recipes
  • Safety Procedures

The trainer should have:

  • Proven past experience in conducting similar trainings
  • The knowledge in the business aspect of this sector in order to train the participants on how to develop their own business model
