English And Science Teacher

The English and Science teacher will work on building a firm foundation for refugee students to help them get integrated into Lebanese schools through an Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) that focuses on the students learning fundamentals in English and Science.  Key Responsibilities Teach basic academic skills, including alphabet, letter recognition, numbers and other English lessons. Develop the scientific skills of students, make sure that the students have learned the principles, concepts and facts related to natural phenomena and broaden the students' knowledge about environment and health and encourage them to act suitably. Lead students through creative play and hands-on activities. Plan lessons according to ALP curriculum and assess students, tailoring their lessons according to the abilities of the children in the classroom. Coordinate with other teachers and school principal. Conduct regular teachers’ and parents’ meetings. Applying JRS policies during class time.
