Main Responsibilities of the Position
Under the overall supervision and guidance of the community centre admin assistant in Burj Hammoud, the trainer will develop and deliver 112 training hours over a period of 32 days on Nails care for 25 women (3.5 hours per day). By the end of the training, trainees will have developed their technical skills in Nails Care enabling them to pursue employment or self-employment opportunities. The training program should cover the following topics:
1-Manicure:
- Basic manicure
- French manicure
- Spa manicure with paraffin treatment
- Shellac manicure
2-Pedicure:
- Basic pedicure
- French pedicure
- Spa pedicure treatment with paraffin
- Shellac pedicure
3-Gel nails:
- Gel overlay
- Extensions
- Modern ail art and design
3-Acrylic nails:
- Shaping and sculpting
- Tips, extensions and nail forms
- Liquid powder ratio
- Refills
Expected Deliverables
1-Before the start of the training:
- The training calendar with session titles
- Samples of Training books/material for distribution
- A Curriculum handout organized by training sessions describing:
- Session topic
- List of key contents and talking points
- The pre- and post-training test questionnaires, to verify level, competences, and learning. The tests should be the same and they are delivered before the start date of the training and after the last session.
2-During the Training:
- Maintain a record of the participants' progress and attendance.
3-After the end of the training:
- Provide a report on the participants’ feedback, lessons learnt and remarks.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
- At least 3 years of practical experience in nail care services (manicure, pedicure, nail art, gel, acrylic).
- Proficient in various nail techniques: manicure, pedicure, gel, acrylic, nail art, and extensions.
- Previous experience in training and coaching is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
