Sales, Administration, and Bookkeeping Trainer - Baalbek

Main Responsibilities of the Position

Under the overall supervision and guidance of the project director in Baalbek, the trainer will develop and deliver 112 training hours over a period of 32 days on sales, administrative assistance and bookkeeping for 25 women (3.5 hours per day). By the end of the training, trainees will have developed their technical skills enabling them to pursue employment or self-employment opportunities. The training program should cover the following topics:

1-Sales skills:

  • Deliver precise information about product features, pricing, and after-sales services.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding specific products or services.
  • Promote additional products through cross-selling techniques.
  • Establish and maintain enduring relationships with customers.
  • Document all sales activities, scheduled customer appointments, and customer complaints accurately.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and promotional trends.
  • Provide management with detailed reports on customer needs, issues, interests, competitive actions, and opportunities for new products and services.
  • Master customer service best practices to attract, retain, and build customer loyalty to the company.

2-Administration and Bookkeeping skills: 

  • Utilize computers for database management and word processing tasks.
  • Handle phone calls by providing information, taking messages, or transferring calls.
  • Create, maintain, and input data into databases.
  • Record numerical data to complete financial records.
  • Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, update paperwork, and maintain documents.
  • Operate office equipment such as copiers and phone systems.
  • Draft administrative correspondence and meeting minutes.
  • Propose, monitor, and follow up on deadlines.
  • Screen requests, schedule, and organize meetings.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures.
  • Apply basic bookkeeping practices.

Expected Deliverables:

1-Before the start of the training:

  • The training calendar with session titles
  • Samples of Training books/material for distribution
  • A Curriculum handout organized by training sessions describing:
  1. Session topic
  2. List of key contents and talking points
  3. The pre- and post-training test questionnaires, to verify level, competences, and learning. The tests should be the same and they are delivered before the start date of the training and after the last session.

2-During the Training:

  • Maintain a record of the participants' progress and attendance.

3-After the end of the training:

  • Provide a report on the participants’ feedback, lessons learnt and remarks.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in delivering training on administration, sales and basic bookkeeping principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of the market.
  • Strong communication, and listening skills.
  • Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
