JRS has several tutoring vacancies in Bar Elias - Beqaa, in 3 different locations, Nahriyeh, Mikseh and Talyani .

Key Responsibilities

• Tutor several subjects such as: Civic, Science, Sports, Arabic, and Geography in Arabic and English….
• Lead students through creative play and hands-on activities.
• Tailor the lessons according to the abilities of the children in the classroom.
• Coordinate with other tutors and school principal.
• Conduct regular tutors’ and parents’ meetings.
• Apply JRS policies during class time.
• Other tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes

• Bachelor or any relevant degree to the major.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and team working skills.
• Good cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Highly approachable, trustworthy and confidential.
• Experience in planning class programs.
• Experience in participatory programs.
• Must be capable of tutoring 2 languages; Arabic and English.
• Experience in working with refugees is a plus.

Working Schedule and Conditions

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 12:00 for the AM Shift.

Or

• Monday through Friday from 12:00 to 4:00 for the PM Shift.

2- Telyani (The working conditions in this area is hard - location next to a camp).

3- Mikseh
