Graphic Designer

JIBAL is a not-for-profit association that champions environmental and social justice principles. We envision a society centered on principles of reciprocity, recognition, and equitable redistribution. The work intertwines socio-cultural and ecological perspectives to promote a holistic approach to societal development. JIBAL promotes sustainability in all its aspects – in the built and natural environments, in human societies, and in economic and social policies – by developing and implementing different activities such as workshops, training, and applied research projects. JIBAL receives its funding mainly from international donors.

JIBAL has been conducting several studies on farmers' situation in Lebanon and the value chain. JIBAL is looking for a graphic designer to design an aesthetic and effective publication for the available content in Arabic and English languages.

Outputs / Deliverables

1. Design of the publication both in Arabic and English

1. Strong theoretical and practical background in graphic design, including the use of design softwares.
2. Show a clear and mature style of design, demonstrating an understanding of the communication requirements of Jibal.
3. Proven experience of graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes and colour management.
4. Good understanding of new and evolving technologies and digital platforms.
5. Working experience in a development or humanitarian environment is desirable.
