Anti Bullying Expert to Develop guidelines and toolkit for Cyber Bullying with TOT - Consultant

JWF is looking for an expert in Cyber bullying to create a tailored interactive anti-bullying awareness toolkit, coupled with a Training of Trainers (TOT)

The aim of this assignment is to strengthen JWF’s capacities in addressing and preventing youth targeted bullying, while fostering a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.

The Consultant shall perform the following tasks:

  • Doing a desk review regarding the toolkit, research and evaluation of anti-bullying in Lebanon
  • Creating a tailored interactive anti-bullying awareness toolkit: The consultant will craft a customized anti-bullying awareness toolkit designed for the Lebanese context, enriched with engaging games and activities aimed at safeguarding youth from bullying.  A PowerPoint presentation should also be prepared for the toolkit. The toolkit will include actionable guidance on countering bullying, differentiating between passive and proactive youth roles, and fostering essential skills for addressing bullying effectively
  • Enhancing JWF team’s competencies in delivering bullying awareness sessions: This initiative focuses on increasing the knowledge of team members, volunteers, and ambassadors with the essential skills to conduct impactful awareness sessions on bullying. The effort includes Training of Trainers (TOT) sessions to ensure the effective transfer of knowledge and skills for the advancement of bullying prevention and education

The consultant will be reporting directly to the director of the organization.

 

TimeLine:

1- Assessment of the current activity including desk review, and operational, evaluation: 4 days

2- Development of the toolkit, PowerPoint, activities ands games: 8 days

3- Two Training days for JWF Team: 1 day of training for the ambassadors and volunteers; and 1 day for JWF team members

 

Skills and experiences required:

  • Bachelor degree in social science or humanities or technology (e.g. gender studies, development, political science, human rights, digital safety) or other related fields
  • Over 5 years of experience in developing studies related to Cyber bullying, digital safety and social media platform.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work simultaneously on multiple tasks, under tight deadlines, provide real-time data points and analysis with accuracy under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail, as well as organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent command in written and verbal English and Arabic is required
  • High level of professionalism
