MEAL Officer - Part time

Key Responsibilities

• Track implementation of project activities against the approved work plan and timeline.
• Monitor progress toward project objectives and indicators.
• Ensure activities are implemented according to agreed standards and donor requirements.

• Develop and/or update monitoring tools (data collection forms, tracking sheets, indicator matrices).
• Maintain up-to-date project databases and activity tracking systems.

• Prepare periodic (quarterly and final) narrative and M&E reports for the donor.
• Contribute to donor reports by providing indicator updates, progress analysis, and supporting data.
• Ensure all reports align with donor formats and compliance requirements.

• Monitor adherence to the project timeline and milestones.

• Analyze data to identify trends, challenges, and lessons learned.

• Continuously update activity info
• Attend Meetings with donors.
• Maintain evidence for donor audits and verification missions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, Project Management, or related field 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in NGOs.
• Experience working with donor-funded projects.
• Strong knowledge of logical framework (logframe) approach and indicator tracking.
• Proficiency in Excel and data management tools.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
