- Provide counseling and listening to victims of violence
- Respond to emergency cases, run periodically the 24 hour helpline for victims of violence, and document the cases;
- Liaise with lawyers for legal consultations, and refer beneficiaries to relevant service providers when needed;
- Assess the psychological situation of the beneficiary and refer to the psychotherapist when necessary;
- Develop materials and conduct awareness raising sessions and training on violence targeting different groups as needed;
- Organise group activities to the beneficiaries of the LCC
- Participate in events and activities, and inform media, civil society and relevant stakeholders on the program and the work of KAFA;
- Prepare progress reports on cases of beneficiaries and on activities implemented;
- Coordinate regularly with the program manager and the team of Listening and Counselling Center.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor degree in social work;
A minimum of three years NGO experience;
Training and Facilitation skills; Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team; Experience in working with vulnerable groups is a plus;
Gender sensitivity and knowledge on violence against women is a plus;
Fluent in French, English and Arabic.
