KAFA, within its program “Stop the exploitation of migrant domestic workers”, is currently seeking a social worker to support its work on assisting and empowering migrant domestic workers in Lebanon. Social Worker’s Duties: -       Provide listening and counselling services to women victims of violence particularly migrant workers and follow-up on individual cases; -       Respond to emergency cases and run the 24 hour helpline for migrant domestic worker victims of violence; -       Liaise with lawyers for legal consultations, and refer beneficiaries to relevant service providers when needed; -       Develop materials and conduct awareness raising sessions and training on the rights of MDWs targeting different groups as needed; -       Work closely with migrant community leaders and build their capacities to identify demands and needs and suggest ways to work; -       Work occasionally late afternoons and weekends to attend migrant community events or to organize activities for migrant domestic workers; -       Assist in networking and cooperating with migrant communities and other civil society organizations; -       Participate in events and activities, and inform media, civil society and relevant stakeholders on the program and the work of KAFA -       Prepare progress reports on cases of beneficiaries and on activities implemented. Minimum requirements: Masters degree in social work;  A minimum of three years NGO experience; Background and practical experience in grassroots work; Training and Facilitation skills; Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team; Experience in working with vulnerable groups is a plus; Gender sensitivity and knowledge on violence against women is a plus;
