General Goal: HR and protection Officer is there to ensure that the human resources function is running smoothly and that employees are supported in their roles, all while aligning with the organization's broader objectives. And s to safeguard people and assets from any potential threats.
Job Responsibilities:
Office Management/Administrative support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked office environment.
- Provide administrative assistance to various departments as needed.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications and memos
- Maintain and update contact lists and directories.
- Create and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital.
- Greet and assist guests in the Bekaa office in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist in planning and coordinating office events, meetings, and training sessions.
HR responsibilities
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and policies that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Managing the recruitment and onboarding processes of new employees
- Overseeing employee relations, performance management, and professional development programs.
- Administering monthly timesheets and payroll processes.
- Ensuring compliance with the donors HR policies and guidelines
- Fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects our values of empathy, collaboration, and excellence.
- Maintain accurate records of all employees.
- Ensure that each employee has an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) and update the MOUs when necessary.
Protection responsibilities:
- Conduct regular field visits to assess program quality, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices in child protection.
- Oversee case referrals and follow-up, ensuring that high-risk children and caregivers receive appropriate specialized services.
- Ensure the correct identification, assessment, and referral of vulnerable children and caregivers for case management services.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards in handling case management data.
- Represent the organization in local-level child protection coordination meetings, ensuring integration with inter-agency response efforts.
- Work closely with local implementing partners, community stakeholders, and relevant authorities to enhance child protection services.
- Adhere to the work schedule as set by management, ensuring consistent and reliable contribution to the project while being flexible to meet evolving needs.
- Collaborate with team members across departments, taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the smooth operation of community centers and achieve the project’s goals.
Qualifications, Skills, and Personal Attributes
- Bachelor Degree Bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 professional years of experience in nonprofit organization.
- Minimum of 5 professional years of experience training on protection and case management.
- Strong knowledge of Lebanese labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop HR teams.

- Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages
