Program Manager

Your duties: The Program Manager will ensure effective programmatic and financial management of all projects related to the Lebanon program of KAS, with the following areas of concern: democracy/political pluralism, conflict prevention/peaceful coexistence, and the social market economy. The Program Manager’s tasks will include: Planning, developing, implementing and monitoring of projects Regularly following up with local partners on the progress of projects, including political parties, government institutions, NGOs, universities, etc. Writing project proposals and reports, articles and analysis Organizing, preparing and participating in official events and meetings Reviewing research papers and studies related to the abovementioned areas of concern Preparing and implementing educational activities and delegation visits Communication with KAS partners, KAS Offices and KAS Headquarters in Germany Your profile: A university degree, preferably in Political Science, Middle East Studies, International Relations, Social Studies or Law Previous experience in international cooperation Expertise on political issues of the Middle East conflict Experience in carrying out independent projects and writing academic papers Very good command of English and Arabic language; good knowledge of French and/or German language is desirable Conceptual and social skills, willingness to work independently, good teamwork and IT skills We offer: A collaboration in a dedicated and flexible international team A full-time contract according to Lebanese rules A remuneration appropriate to the work assignment
