Interviewer

Purpose of the assignment:

Kvinna till Kvinna is looking for an interviewer for a series of five podcasts, focusing on women’s experiences in decision making with a particular focus on political participation and Women’s Economic Empowerment. The selected interviewer will be responsible for conducting engaging and insightful interviews for five podcast episodes.

Scope of Work:

Preparation:

• Conduct research on each guest/topic to understand their background, expertise, and key points of interest.
• Develop interview questions that are thoughtful, relevant, and tailored to each guest/topic.
• Coordinate with Kvinna till Kvinna to ensure alignment on interview content and objectives.

Interview Execution:

• Conduct professional and engaging interviews with guests either in-person or remotely.
• Ensure interviews adhere to the allotted time frame for each episode.
• Encourage guests to share valuable insights, stories, and perspectives during the interview.

Post-Interview:

• Provide any necessary follow-up information or materials to Kvinna till Kvinna.
• Collaborate with Kvinna till Kvinna to address any post-production needs or edits related to the interviews.

Deliverables:

• Well-researched interview questions for each episode.
• Conduct interviews for five podcast episodes.
• Timely submission of any post-interview materials or follow-up information.

Management and organisation:

The Interviewer will be working closely with the Kvinna till Kvinna team to ensure that the podcasts are engaging and insightful.

Timeline:

• The series of podcasts will run tentatively between June and July 2024.

Contracted Interviewer cannot further subcontract the assignment.

• Previous experience in conducting interviews, preferably in a podcast or similar setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of guests.
• Familiarity with the podcast topics/themes and a genuine interest in the subject matter.
• Ability to work collaboratively with podcast producers and adhere to production timelines.
• Arabic language is a must.

The work plan for the implementation of the assignment will be developed in partnership with Kvinna till Kvinna team.
