Background:
La Chaîne de l’Espoir (CDE) is an international NGO headquartered in Paris, France, whose office in Lebanon is located in Zalka, Metn, Mount Lebanon. Its mission is to strengthen health systems to give everyone, especially children, the same chances of survival and development. It works in 27 countries with a global approach, focusing on the child but also on mothers and disadvantaged communities:
- Prevention and screening from the earliest age, particularly in the context of school health programs.
- Care and surgery to meet the most urgent needs of children and their mothers.
- Training and capacity building of local teams through our international network of experts in all areas of surgery.
- Construction and equipment of hospital structures adapted to local needs.
To effectively evaluate the current project objectives in Lebanon, the conduct of Satisfaction Surveys constitutes a core component of the project cycle. This activity is expected to generate increased feedback from caregivers through structured follow-up calls conducted by external staff, independent of the program team, to ensure objectivity and neutrality.
General Terms:
The selected candidate will assist in conducting the “Satisfaction Survey” with caregivers. Enumerators must be independent from program implementation and must not have direct involvement with service delivery under the project.
Position Title: Enumerators – Daily Worker

Payment: 45USD/Day (8 hours)

Objectives:
To provide support in conducting the Satisfaction Survey with caregivers of beneficiaries under the current project.
Scope of Work and Key Responsibilities:
- Support the administration of the Satisfaction Survey with caregivers of beneficiaries under the current project.
- Explain the purpose of the survey to caregivers and obtain their informed consent prior to participation.
- Assist caregivers in completing the survey in a clear, neutral, and respectful manner over the phone.
- Ensure accurate and complete data collection in line with CDE guidelines and tools.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection and accountability standards.
- Report any challenges, feedback, or concerns raised by caregivers to the case management officer.
- Expected daily targets (number of calls or completed surveys) will be agreed upon with the case management officer prior to the beginning of the activity .
Deliverables
- Completed satisfaction surveys with caregivers of current project beneficiaries, conducted over the phone via KoBo, using the beneficiary list provided by the case management officer.
- Regular updates to the case management officer on progress, including number of beneficiaries successfully contacted and key observations.
- Timely reporting of any challenges, refusals, or technical issues encountered during phone calls or KoBo data collection.
Background and Qualifications:
- Experience in filling surveys or collecting data using KOBO
- Experience in the humanitarian sector
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Able to work within a team and under stress
- Fluent in Arabic and strong command in English
- Lebanon
