Intern for Learning is My Right

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: the intern will help LMR in managing current projects. At the end, He/she will learn more about the key elements of project management and listing project lesson learned.
  2. Project proposal writing: the intern will help LMR in research and field studies. At the end, He/she will learn more about the structure and sections of the project proposals.
  3. Fundraising strategy: the intern will support LMR in contacting donors. At the end, He/she will learn more about how to approach donors.
  4. Communication skills: the intern will support LMR by communicating with beneficiaries for collecting some data. At the end, He/she will learn more about how to deal with beneficiaries in a professional and manner way.
  5. Risk assessments: the intern support LMR in developing risk assessment filed by doing research and field studies. At the end, He/she will learn more about the different type of risks the project implementation may face.
  6. Education category: the intern will support LMR by developing new ideas for projects which contains vocational and formal education. At the end, He/she will learn more about new education methodology is being used in projects.
  7. Humanitarian principles: the intern will support in collecting data about UN standards. At the end, He/she will learn more about the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) .
  8. Human resources: the intern will support LMR in preparing contracts for volunteers, for staff, schedules. At the end, He/she will learn more about the new HR tools developed by LMR for maintaining their work needs.
  9. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning: the intern will support LMR’s MEAL expert team in indicating objective of the projects and developing the outputs and interventions. At the end, He/she will learn more about the tools needed during the M&E period.
  10. Web development: the intern will support LMR’s expert in developing websites and software. At the end he/she will learn more about new coding languages, frontend and backend structure.
  11. Graphic design: the intern will support LMR in creating new posts and photoshop. At the end he/she will learn more how to use graphic software and to increase their imagination in creativity.
  12. Digital marketing: the intern will support LMR in managing the social media accounts that are being used for the NGO to publish LMR’s events and achievements. At the end, He/she will learn more about the new technics are being used with social media.

Requirments:

  • A Bachelor's degree is advanced in project management, Business management, journalism, communications, English, any field related to the above resposibilities.
  • Previous experience in proposal writing is an advantageous.
  • Strong working knowledge of word processing software.
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good strategic planning abilities.
