MEAL and Operational Officer (LACODE جمعية التعايش والانماء - Bekaa)

Position Overview:
The MEAL and Operational Officer plays a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) activities while managing essential operational functions. This position supports program quality by tracking progress, measuring impact, and ensuring accountability to stakeholders. Additionally, the officer oversees logistics, procurement, and compliance to maintain smooth operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL):

  • Develop and implement MEAL frameworks, tools, and methodologies to assess program effectiveness.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to measure project impact and inform decision-making.
  • Conduct field visits to monitor activities, gather feedback, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Facilitate learning processes by documenting best practices and lessons learned.
  • Support the development of donor reports and internal performance reviews.

2. Operational Support:

  • Oversee logistics, procurement, and resource management to ensure program efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and donor regulations.
  • Support financial tracking and budget monitoring in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Assist in coordinating field activities, including staff and resource allocation.
  • Maintain clear documentation and reporting systems for both MEAL and operational processes.
  • Support grant writing.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in MEAL, project management, or operations within the humanitarian or development sector.
