1. About LADE

The Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization committed to promoting electoral integrity and fair representation as essential pillars of a functional democracy. Since its establishment in 1996, LADE has been at the forefront of electoral reform in Lebanon through a comprehensive approach that includes election monitoring, evidence-based advocacy, and citizen engagement.

LADE’s work spans all stages of the electoral process—pre-election, election-day, and post-election—while addressing issues such as gender inclusion, accessibility, and civic participation. 

2. Project Background

LADE is implementing the project “Monitoring Political Narratives and Disinformation During Conflict: Implications for Democratic Life in Lebanon.”

The project aims to analyze the impact of disinformation, sectarian rhetoric, polarizing narratives, and conflict-related political discourse on democratic governance, social cohesion, and public trust in Lebanon. As part of the project, LADE will produce three thematic analytical papers and accompanying communication materials to make key findings accessible to broader audiences.

3. Objective of the Assignment

LADE seeks to contract a Video Editor to produce short videos highlighting the key findings and recommendations of three thematic analytical papers.

4. Scope of Work

The selected consultant will be responsible for:

Video Production

Produce three short videos (one per analytical paper) for digital dissemination and public awareness purposes.

Each video should:

• Follow LADE's visual identity and communication style
• Present key findings in an engaging and accessible format
• Include motion graphics, subtitles, and visual elements as needed
• Be optimized for social media platforms
• Incorporate feedback and revisions provided by LADE

5. Expected Deliverables

The consultant shall deliver:

• Three short videos (one per analytical paper) summarizing key findings and recommendations
• Final videos in formats suitable for social media publication, along with editable source files

6. Duration

The assignment is expected to be completed within one month from the date of contract signature. A detailed delivery schedule will be agreed upon between LADE and the selected consultant.

7. Qualifications

The video editor should possess:

• Proven experience in video production and editing
• Experience producing videos for civil society organizations, research institutions, or advocacy campaigns
• Strong motion graphics and storytelling skills
• Proficiency in video editing software
• Experience producing content for social media platforms
