Assistant Coordinator

1. BASIC FUNCTION: Overall Assist and follow up the work of LADE’s regional groups. Harmonize between LADE’s regional groups in order to reach better efficiency of their lobbying. Responsible of the adequate implementation of all the following activities: Province meetings: 12 LADE youth groups must meet each in its region to elaborate their action plan for 2012. Province activities: each LADE group will implement its planned activities during 2012. Report results of the implemented activities to the project coordinator  Insures that all LADE policies and procedures are being followed. Takes the responsibility in writing the reports for the Donor.  Data management The assistant Coordinator shall keep neat and well-organized files in relation to project reports, work plans, correspondence and other documents. Reporting and maintaining project records The Assistant coordinator shall report to the project coordinator with regard to all the activities of the project. The assistant coordinator shall provide detailed and accurate reports on any expenditure for which s/he is responsible towards LADE’s Financial Manager and in accordance with LADE’s Financial Regulations.     3. BASIC REQUIREMENTS:   Academic & Technical: 2 years experience in NGO work good written and oral communication skills in Arabic, English, French is a plus Degree-level qualification in Political Science or any related field. Minimum knowledge of electoral issues. Workshop organization and knowledge of local government NGO sector.   B. Personal: Talent for creative thinking and innovation  Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and taking initiative Proven ability to work in a busy, team-based environment A background in Lebanese atmosphere, political situation, electoral systems…. Effective at building strong working relationships
